BTCC to change engine rules for 2025

The British Touring Car Championship has announced that it will make tweaks to its regulations following the confirmation that the serious will abandon using hybrid engines in favour of using 100% sustainable fuel.

Presently, the drivers get a 60hp power boost with half coming from the hybrid system this power boost will remain unchanged in 2025 but will come entirely from the enginge turbo. The removal of the system is set to reduce the weight of the cards by 55kg.
